UK Basketball TOPS in the land

Coach Cal is getting some pad press about his recent comment about what he felt was the "biggest night in UK basketball history". Ok, I disagree with him as well, BUT.....

I think the Cats will do something that hasn't been done in a very long time. I am going on record now and predicting back-to-back National Titles beginning next season. I feel like Cal's recruiting is going to form the best Dynasty in the NCAA since UCLA!

The next two recruiting classes are already stacked and I think KY will be dominating by the time March rolls around. They may take a lump or two along the way, but they are going to be so explosive and dominating!!!

Kanter, Knight, Lamb and the rest of the newcomers along with Liggins, Miller and the other returners are going to be awesome. Wonder if Cal is still going catch crap from all the ungrateful UK fans. Maybe they would like to have Billy Clyde back and go back to the NIT!!!!

Well the greatest moment wasn't having 5 guys drafted! I mean come on Cal! My greatest UK moment was either the unforgettables or the 96 team which was the best college basketball team probably of all time. i know ESPN had a poll and they were either 1 or 2, i can't remember.

Yeah, when i start to bitch, i think about the Tubby/Billy eras and i try to shut my mouth real fast. Elite 8 is better than NIT. I couldn't even watch that last Billy G team. freaking terrible.

what we need at UK is some outside marksmen. Thats why we lost to WVU. we just couldn't hit a shot. Play a zone on us last year and we lose.

Yeah definitely missed a constant outside threat. We needed/need that player who can knock down the 3 night in and night out.
