I have often said this outloud, if the day will come where the UFC simply have no more big fights left to put on...
If BJ beats Frankie Edgar and then beats him in the 3rd rubber match.. whats left for BJ?
If GSP beats Koscheck, LOL! when he does, who is left at 170? there is nobody left for him to fight at WW.. well Jake Shields which could be interesting.
If Anderson beats Chael Sonnen and then Vitor.. he has nobody left at 185.
Even the deep LHW division.. with Chuck gone, Randy still hanging on, Tito injured and closer to the end.. Rampage and his movies..
U have shogun, machida, jon jones ,Rashad..... but then who?
HW has inriguing matchups but lets say Brock beats Carwin, then Cain, then JDS... then what?
same with Strike force... i know there will always be some guys coming up through the ranks but the ultimate fighter series keeps getting worse and worse at producing talent.
so in a couple of years, will we see a drop off in intriguing matchups?

There are a great number of unknowns and up-and-comers. There will always be superstars and fan favorites to push into the spotlight even if the talent level isn't there. Marketing experts and promoters will make them seem like a big deal even if they are not
