I do think Lebron is somewhat overrated, but he didn't have the greatest supporting cast built for the playoffs and he needs a 1A to win a title like a lot of players do.
Lebron is being rumored to go to Miami or Chicago. he shouldn't choose either because:
A: In Miami, u are playing with D Wade and I honestly think it would negatively impact both of their legacies. Wade already has a ring and if Lebron goes there, it just makes him look bad and like a ring chaser.
B: Chicago... do u really want to go to the house MJ built? Jordan has a statue and won 6 titles. Do u really want that pressure? He chose 23 and is compared to Jordan etc.. so i think that would be too much pressure for Lebron cause if he doesn't win 6, he doesn't measure up to Jordan.
Lebron should come to Dallas *and not just because I am the biggest Mav fan on the planet* but because Dallas offer him the BEST situation.
Kobe Bryant did nothing until they stole Pau Gasol from Memphis. In Dallas Lebron would have an even better Pau Gasol. To come to Dallas, Lebron would have to agree to a sign and trade which would mean 30 million more dollars for Lebron whereas with Chicago or Miami he'd have to sign for 30 million less.
In Dallas, u have the greatest owner not named George Steinbrenner who will do whatever it takes to put a great product on the floor, so Lebron will always be surrounded with talent.
Dirk has 4 more great seasons left and coupled with Lebron, they would win a title. Winning a title in Dallas also would work better on Lebron's legacy cause Dirk has been viewed as someone who can't win by himself. so unlike Dwade who proved he can win by himself, Lebron would get the lions share of the credit in Dallas.
Lebron is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and what a coup it would be for him to be able to play some home games in Jerry Land at Dallas' new 100k seat stadium!
The sign and trade also works great for Cleveland because they wouldn't lose Lebron for nothing. They'd get Caron Butler who has been an allstar. A very good up and coming young PG in Roddy Beaubois who is being touted as the next Tony Parker *without Eva Longoria LOL* and they would get Erick Damier's 13 million dollar non guaranteed contract which basically means they can cut him and save 13 million which would allow them to grab another decent player. not a max level guy, but still someone decent.
So Lebron, come to Dallas. it is the absolute BEsT place for u and your legacy!
