I think the rules of the NCAA are pretty much the most pathetic of any governing body I can think of.
College athletes are not allowed to accept money or be paid any money while playing NCAA sports. The NCAA and the schools make billions of dollars off of these players every year and punish the players if they take a dollar.
I don't think college players should be able to make millions while attending school, but I do think they should give something to the players to make life in school easier than it currently is. Think of the billions of dollars and entertainment everyone would lose if there were no athletes at the college level.
Maybe a limit could be given to each player. Such a salary as if they worked a 40 hour week at minimum wage or something like that. The NCAA and TV networks exploit these players' names and images all year every year. They sell videos and merchandise, but the players never see a dime of it.
These rules will never be changed, but I feel like it is a complete injustice and the most hypocritical thing in the world. The NCAA is a bunch of money-hungry idiots IMO!!!

Slavery supposedly ended over 130 years ago.. but whatever.. this is ridiculous. Schools leaving conferences, completely changing geography which will make flights take longer, parents unable to see their kids road games...
If you pay players, it will help keep kids honest. unfortunately, this won't happen thanks to Title 9. Female athletes should be thanking Male sports for giving them the opportunity to even field programs, but u know they'd sue if they also didn't get paid.
