Lebron would be a fool to stay in Cleveland

I understand Lebron is from the area, and he wants to do the right thing by his city and his fans etc, but the clock is ticking and it is time for Lebron James to win a championship.

Lebron,since high school, has had all this hype of being a super basketball prodigy. The next Michael, the next Magic. He had historic labels slapped upon him, fairly, or unfairly, before he even dribbled a basketball in the NBA.

James to his credit, embraced all of this, and never downplayed the hype or pressure put on him.

So 7 seasons later, Lebron has one finals appearance *which he got swept* and nothing but disappointing exits since. One can say he is more Dirk Nowitzki than Michael Jordan, but I'll skip that for now.

Lebron Cannot stay in Cleveland. If he comes back, his team will be the same team he lost last season with in the 2nd round. Hiring Byron Scott will not get you to the finals alone. Lebron has to have somebody else. Whoever traded for Antawn Jamison instead of Amare Stoudemire should be fire... oh wait, he was.. GOOD!

Jamison is not a PF in the NBA.. he is more of a SF tweener. Chris Bosh is against a sign and trade to Cleveland, so that pretty much knocks out any possibility of Lebron getting any help.

Bosh, is however, reported to be leaning towards Miami. The significance u ask? If Bosh teams up with Wade in Miami, and they get, say David Lee.. that puts 3 teams ahead of Cleveland now in the East. I still feel Boston is better than Cleveland, Orlando and now Miami would be. So Lebron will have an even bigger fight to get out of the East.

The power is shifting to the East as Kobe Bryant,Tim Duncan and the other Western stars are getting older.. If Lebron can't get a sign and trade to a Western Conference team, I would have to advise Lebron to go to Chicago.

I have an article where I talk about playing in Jordan's house.. but u know what? nobody kills Kobe for playing in Magic,Jerry,and Kareem's house. No one is saying anything about KG,Pierce and Allen only winning 1 title in Russell and Bird's house.

If Lebron joins Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Luol Deng in Chicago, they still can afford one more guy. If not Bosh, someone like Carlos Boozer would still make them the top team in the East imo and a favorite to win the title.

Lebron owes Cleveland NOTHING! he gave them 7 years to put talent around him which they did not, he sold out arenas, made the owner's franchise even richer and its time for Lebron to cement his legacy.. Chicago is the only place he can do that.

As an NBA fan, I've watched many superstars piss their careers away being "Loyal" Charles Barkley,Patrick Ewing, Kevin Garnett to a degree.. If Lebron stays in Cleveland and doesn't win.. Dont say i didn't tell you so.

Lebron, do what is best for u and your legacy. Never listen to fans. we honestly know nothing!

How does Amare going to the Knicks factor in? He plays zero defense. But it would give him some offensive firepower to work with. PLaying with a young talented point guard would be huge for him if he decided to play with Rose. If I were him, I'd definitely leave Cleveland.

Problem with NY is, the rest of their roster is garbage.

If Lebron signs with Cleveland lineup would be:
PG mo Williams
SG Anthony Parker
SF Lebron
PF Antawn Jamison
C Anderson Varejao or Big Z if they bring him back, maybe Brendan Haywood

If he signs with NY it could look like
PG Toney Douglas
SG Gallinari
SF Lebron
PF Amare
C Eddy Curry


in Chicago, they'd get either Bosh or Boozer. Bosh reportedly wants to play with Lebron,just not in Cleveland

I think if LeBron wants to win a couple of championships or have a great chance at doing so within the next couple of years then he would need to sign with Miami or Chicago and get some help along the way.

I would have much more respect for the guy if he stays in Cleveland and builds his own team around his talents. I think Chris Bosh is a loser anyway and I pretty much feel the same way about Amare. I honestly don't think any of the proposed moves I have heard would make LeBron an automatic champion anyway. The Miami thing would be great, but they won't be able to afford much to help the top three players, whoever they are.

I say stay at home LeBron. Don't listen to Donnie lol.

Jamison is terrible.

I like Amare but without Nash feeding him the ball.. im not sure how he will do. His D and Reb are avg. at best.

Bosh has ZERO impact on an NBA game. he puts up great stats, but so does Zack Randolph.

Lebron would be better off coming to Dallas, I have stated my case, it makes the most sense but he won't.

If he goes to Miami, it won't be HIS championship it will be THEIR championship and Wade would get just as much credit and I think they are too big of stars to do that.

In Chicago, there are still questions ,cause he and Rose both dominate the ball, so would be interesting to see how they'd co exist. If they got Boozer, u would have a dominant post guy, Noah is the Rodman mode dirty worker doing the rebounding,blocking shots, defense,hustle,energy stuff... Deng is a nice slasher who can play a little D.
Off the bench Taj Gibson showed a lot of promise in the frontcourt and Im sure if Lebron and Boozer come.. they'd attract a few veteran ring chasers for the league minimum.

Personally I think it is best for the CELTICS for LeBron to go to Miami or New York lol.
