There is plenty of wrong with my Dallas Cowboys. The number 1 problem is Leadership. Dallas has NO leadership. There is no leadership at the head coaching position, Tony Romo isn't a leader,Demarcus Ware isn't a leader.
Just watch Dallas play. The penalties, missed assignments, turnovers. Dallas are the "Too Cool" for school kids, the ones who have this giant sense of entitlement that feels they are so great and talented, they just have to show up.
I've told anyone that will listen, I would've cut or traded Tony Romo 1 hour after that botched hold against Seattle in the playoffs. Romo isn't a winner. He doesn't have that Tom Brady gene. Romo is a choker and a loser. Dallas will never win a SB with Romo as the Quarterback.
I can hear the arguments now: "You're Crazy," "He threw for 400 yards today."
Yeah but Romo's production isn't on trial here. It's the boneheaded, choking, backbreaking turnover he seems to always make at the most critical time. The pick he threw that got returned to the goal line. The pick to end the game. Let's go back to the dumb decision to dump the ball to Tashard Choice back in week 1 against Washington.
My 2nd person to blame as always is Jason Garrett. U HAVE GOT TO RUN THE BALL SON!
Dallas threw the football 46 times to 23 runs. Felix Jones had 15 carries for 109 yards!
In Dallas' lone victory, they passed 30 times to 27 runs. balance is a must. Dallas allowed 34pts to Tennessee. That should never happen. Three pass interference penalties on the first drive.
Which is my next person to blame, The Head Coach, Wade Phillips.
Dallas show lack of discipline, lack of fire, lack of heart. That is on the head coach.
To Solve Dallas' problem? Throw a blank check at Bill Cowher.
For the short term, More balance on offense, get some discipline.
Everyone who knows me, knows how much i despise and hate the dual backs with a time share. There is an old saying, "If you have two Quarterbacks, you have none." I honestly think the same applies here. Now have there been exceptions? Sure, here and there it has worked, but when you have a legitimate stud/superstar in the backfield, sharing time and carries just weakens you team. If Felix Jones can average 7 yards per carry, you have to ride that horse. Felix should be the number 1 back. Bring Marion Barber in on short yardage and Goal line packages only.
