Top recruiting class coming in...
I want to know from UK fans, how long do u give John Calipari to win a title before we start to maybe think his one and done super recruits aren't the way to go?
I am thrilled to have Calipari, after what we went through with Tubby and Billy Clyde, I am so excited every year and proud that we are gonna stay in the mix.
But for how long will that satisfy u? How long will u be ok going to elite 8's?
Can Calipari win the big one? He hasn't yet............... Just saying.

I think Cal will hang a banner within three (more) years. I know that seems to be a long time, but he is going to have his one-and-done players every year. He is also going to have his players like Darius Miller, John Hood (there will be others) who will provide an excellent nucleus of players to go along with the No. 1 recruiting class in the Nation every year. This was the first time in the history of the NBA that 5 players have went in the first round... that won't be a trend. We won't have players leaving in bundles every year. There will be one or two every year I am sure, but not like this year. Elite 8 in his first year after taking over a team that didn't make the tournament is pretty good for me. I am a glass-half-full kind of guy when it comes to the Wildcats though.  |

Yeah, but u know how crazy the UK fanbase is. Tubby made elite 8's and sweet sixteens. so what if Cal doesn't make a final four or win in the next 2-3 years? will some fans start getting restless?

There are already fans trying to claw out the eyes of Cal. There are fans that write on the Herald-Leader website and they are ruthless. I have a quote derived from another famous quote to fit the UK fanbase and it goes like this...
"You can please all of the UK fans some of the time. You can please some of the UK fans all of the time. You will NEVER please ALL of the UK fans ALL of the time."
Some of the UK fans are already getting restless.

only thing that worries me about Cal is the scandals that usually muddy his programs... look at Eric Bledsoe already? so i do wonder if we will be on probation in a few years.
